Sumedh Mudgalkar's Career:
Dancing has always been Sumedh's passion, but he never let it hinder his studies. He completed his schooling from Sinhagad Springdale Public School, Pune and graduated in Economics from Maharashtra Institute of Technology, Pune. He started participating in dance shows during his schooling and continued to do TV shows and films during his graduation. He became a household name after playing the role of little Krishna in Star Bharat's Radhakrishna opposite Mallika Singh, the epic love saga of Lord Krishna and Radha.
At the age of 15, he made his dancing debut in 2012 as one of the finalists in the Marathi reality competition dancing Maharashtra Dance. In 2013, he participated in Dance India Dance (Season 4), where he finished as the third runner-up and advanced to the finals.
In the dance-based youth programme Dil Dosti Dance on Channel V, Mudgalkar made his acting debut as Raghavendra "Raghav" Pratap Singh. The antagonist Yuvraj Sushim in the Indian historical drama Chakravarti Ashoka Samrat is where he first gained notoriety.
Sumedh then made the transition to Marathi cinema with a cameo appearance as Karan in the 2016 movie Ventilator. His next role was as Vicky, a psychopath, in Manjha, the major antagonist and his debut as a lead actor. Salil was played by him in the 2018 movie Bucket List.
He costarred with Mallika Singh as Lord Krishna, Lord Vishnu, and Lord Rama in the Swastik Productions television series Radhakrishna on Star Bharat from October 2018 until January 2023.
In 2022 he starred as Darkie in Disney+Hotstar's web series Escape Live, produced and directed by Siddharth Kumar Tiwari under Swastik Productions. He began appearing in Ali Baba on Sony SAB in May 2023 as Hatim.
