V, whose full name is Kim Tae-Hyung, is a South Korean singer and member of the boy band BTS. V has released three solo songs under his own name since joining the group in 2013, "Stigma" in 2016, "Singularity" in 2018, and "Inner Child" in 2020, all through South Korea's Gaon Digital. There were charts made. V was raised in Geochang County and was born on December 30, 1995, in Daegu, South Korea. Kim Tae-Hyung is the eldest of three children, he has a younger brother and sister. V had the ambition to become a professional singer while she was in elementary school. 

He began taking saxophone lessons in the beginning of middle school with his father's support in an effort to pursue a musical career. V BTS (Kim Tae-Hyung)'s Career:

Kim Tae-Hyung began his singing career in 2013, for the organization Big Hit Entertainment. Later, it was announced that he has been selected as a member of the BTS group. At the time, his organization was trying to keep his identity a secret in order to promote the public, although Kim thought he might be expelled from the group. He later said that he felt anxious and lonely, wondering why his identity had not been disclosed.

Kim made his BTS debut on June 13, 2013, performing the song "No More Dream" from his debut solo album, 2 Cool 4 Skool. When he co-wrote and co-produced the song "Hold Me Tight" for The Most Beautiful Moment in Life, Part 1, he obtained his first music composition credit.

Kim made her debut in the Love Yourself: Tear album trailer for BTS' forthcoming third album in May 2018 with her second single, the song "Singularity". On October 25, BBC Radio played the song for the first time in the UK, and it achieved a rank in the "Top 50 Tracks of June 2018" and a place in BTS' Top 50 Songs.

Later, after about eight months, Jimin and Kim, a member of the band, collaborated on the music "Friends". Additionally, he contributed to the song "Inner Child" that appears on their sixth album.

Kim was also appointed as the Special Presidential Envoy for Future Generations and Culture in July 2021, along with various BTS contributors. South Korean President Moon Jae-in gave the group the title for "expanding South Korea's diplomatic efforts and standing internationally" and "leading the international agenda such as sustainable development for future generations".

Early in 2016, Kim 'V' launched his acting career in the historical drama Hwarang: The Poet Warrior Youth on KBS2, using his true name, in a supporting role for the first time in the Korean broadcasting system. He and his bandmate Jin also wrote the song "It's You" for the program's soundtrack.

Kim released her debut single, "Scenery", on January 30, 2019. On the BTS SoundCloud website, it is accessible. The song was written and produced by Big Hit producer DoxKim, with additional help from Podog and Hiss Noise. V also took the photographs for the cover art.
