Singha's father, Iqbal Singh Singha, is a retired lieutenant general of the Indian Army His mother Baljit Kaur is a homemaker, although his father is retired, but currently Stationed in Syria as the commander of the UN forces, his mother is a poet in her own right. His younger brother Harman Singha is a television personality, actor, and VJ. Due to his father's transferable jobs across India, he went to nine different schools, and finally graduated from Army Public School, Dhaula Kuan, New Delhi. 

He attended Hansraj College (B.Com from University of Delhi doing Honours). Rannvijay wanted to win the Hero Honda Karizma Rannvijay Singha started his career as a contestant on MTV Roadies Season 1, and was the winner of that season as well. Rannvijay Singha's Career: 

Rannvijay Singh began working for a construction firm in New Jersey, USA, after receiving his degree. But he was fond of acting and sports since childhood, so came back to India and started his career in 2003 by participating in the Indian television show 'MTV Roadies Season 1' as a contestant and got selected in that round. And he was also the winner of that season. Rannvijay's life and career changed drastically after that show, then he has also participated in two seasons of Celebrity TV Cricket League 'Box Cricket League 1' (2014) and 'Box Cricket League 2' (2016). 

And after rising to fame from there, Rannvijay has worked as the presenter of MTV Roadies for 10 seasons and the show has brought him immense popularity. Along with numerous other Hindi programmes, he also hosted or presented "MTV Force India The Fast and the Gorgeous," "Savdhaan India," "NBA Slam," and "MTV Troll Police." People started liking his power and his leadership, his fan following had increased a lot, apart from the Roadies show, Rannvijay Singha has also worked in Bollywood and Punjabi films. 

He made his acting debut in the 2014 TV serial 'Pukar - Call for the Hero', in which he played the role of Major Rajveer Shergill. He then appeared in "London Dreams" and "Toss: A Flip of Destiny" in 2009, making his Bollywood debut in the character of Ryan in "Toss: A Flip of Destiny, 'Action Replayy' (2010), and Has acted in few Hindi films like 'Sharafat Gayi Tel Lene' (2015). Rannvijay has worked as a presenter for six seasons of the Hindi dating TV programme MTV Splitsvilla in addition to Roadies. Then in 2020, Rannvijay worked in the Hindi web series 'Forbidden Love', after which he appeared in the Hindi web series 'Mismatched' (2020) and 'Mismatched 2' (2022). In 2021, he hosted the reality TV show 'Shark Tank India' which aired on Sony channel. 

Controversy: 

Raghu Ram, Rajeev Laxman, and Rannvijay Singh's faces were blackened in Pune in 2011 by ABVP militants because they used profanity on the television programme "MTV Roadies." Shailendra Dalvi, an ABVP spokeswoman, responded to inquiries about the demonstration by saying,

Raghu's use of derogatory language on his show MTV Roadies is something we strongly disagree with. He has a negative impact on young people. He is attempting to appeal to the kids, but if they follow him and other like him, the youth of this nation will suffer. It is impossible to stop kids from seeing inappropriate television. His every sentence ends with an expletive. He manipulates the youth into performing crazy acts like kissing total strangers. What will happen to Indian culture if this keeps happening?
